Re "Ministry to lend textbooks to students in budget drive", (BP, Feb 9). Most school systems across North America and many European countries have been "lending" students textbooks for the past 70 or so years, as far back as I remember. At the end term, the teacher collects the texts, again inspects for damage and defacing, and the student once again signs that the book has been returned. WarnerVery sore losersIn response to Andrew Stewart's Feb 5 letter "Farcical start for Trump", I have to say my original letter was deadly serious.
